So me and phoebe have an idea for the project , we want to use pure data to take the sensor readings of 4 different sensors in order to manipulate sounds. The the general overview of our idea s lets expand on it to get the full picture.
We want to build a mini wooden bar and use different sensors to allow us to alter different sounds relating to a bar We want one of the sensors to be a pressure sensor which will change its value depending on how much liquid is in the glass. A second weight sensor which will act as a track selector so depending on what glass is on the sensor it will play different sounds Along with a light sensor and an inferred sensor that will control the pitch and speed of the track. .
so depending on what liquid you poor in the glass , how much is in the glass and what glass you use will effect the sounds. In this instance the analogue elements are the glasses and the liquid which then effects the digital signals which will be a bunch of numbers which will hopefully effect the our data sketch to edit the sound.
